Programme overview

The NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) is a 9-to-12 month pathway programme designed for international students to bridge the gap between local high school and university. It prepares students for undergraduate study in the UK and worldwide by focusing on subject knowledge and English skills.

Core Programme Structure

Students study 120 credits, comprising three academic modules and an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) module, which is widely accepted in lieu of IELTS. Assessment combines coursework and final exams.

Key Entry Requirements

  • Academic: Successful completion of local high school education (ມໍ 7), IGCSE (Successful completion of 4 to 5 modules with grades of 4 or above)
